      Dr. Li Wei is Pro-Vice-Master and Director of the Birkbeck Graduate Research School. His main research interest is in the broad area of bilingualism and multilingualism. His current work focuses on the creativity and criticality of multilingual and multimodal language users. He is Principal Editor of the International Journal of Bilingualism (Sage), Editor of Applied Linguistics Review and Co-Editor of Chinese Language and Discourse.

      Dr. Neil J Anderson has taught and presented papers and workshops in over 40 countries. His research interests include second language reading, motivation, language learning strategies, and teacher leadership. Neil served as President of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Inc. 2001-2002. He is the author of a teacher education text entitled Exploring Second Language Reading: Issues and Strategies (1999, Heinle) and an EFL reading series ACTIVE Skills for Reading (2012, Heinle).

      Dr. Yukio is a Professor at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. His research interest lies in the application of corpora for foreign language teaching and research. He has been involved in major English corpus building projects such as NICT-JLE, PERC, JEFLL. He is also involved in a 5-year large-scale government-based project of compiling a balanced corpus of written Japanese initiated by National Institute of Japanese Language (NIJL)
