114-2 Semester Application of Master’s Degree Examination (Thesis Final Defense), Thesis Writing Guidelines, and Graduation Procedures

※ Application Period: April 6, 2026 – May 1, 2026

(1) Inquiry: i-touch (Log into) – Advanced Study –Study abroad – Degree Exam Application (Only those who meet the graduation requirements can go online and fill in degree examination application form.)

(2) The thesis topic must align with the department’s professional field. The degree examination application may only be completed after the Departmental Thesis Review Committee has approved the specialty alignment of the thesis. Additionally, a similarity report from CYCU Chang Ching Yu Memorial Library must be provided, and the report results should be confirmed by the advisor within an acceptable range.

(3) After the online application, the “Master’s Degree Examination Application Form,” “Thesis Comparison Report,” and the attached”研究生論文審查_論文摘要說明” must be printed, signed by the advisor, and submitted to the department office.

(4)  Paper Comparison Report: Turnitin (please contact ALLS office before applying for the thesis final defense)

(5) From the 111-2 semester, the Oral Exam Committee Member Letter of Appointment has been changed to an electronic format. It can be downloaded or printed by students to be sent along with the thesis draft. Alternatively, the advisor may present the letter to the committee members on the day of the examination. The Appointment Letter also serves as a campus access pass and may be sent via email.

(6) Those who have already submitted their application for degree examination application this semester but fail to have their exam must go online to apply for a withdrawal, print it out, and get advisor’s signature, the application should be sent to the department office to signing before July 31, 2026.

Thesis Proposal Application:

The Thesis Proposal Examination for this semester must be held by July 31, 2026. Following the approval of the advisor, registration must be completed at the department office three weeks prior to the scheduled examination date. The following information is required at the time of application:

1. Committee Members List: Please provide the full names, current institutions, professional titles, and email addresses of all committee members.

2. Date and Time: Please provide the exact date and time of the Proposal Examination so that the department office can arrange a venue.
