INTERFACE warmly invites submissions for INTERFACEing 2026:
Creativity before and after the Age of AI: Literature, Languages and Cultures in Times of Instability
This interdisciplinary conference seeks to explore how literature, languages, and cultures navigate, reflect upon, and respond to the multiple forms of instability that characterize our contemporary world. We welcome proposals that examine creativity before and after the emergence of generative AI, as well as broader questions concerning technology, culture, language, and society.
Scholars from anthropology, philosophy, history, education, literature, art, politics, sociology, religion, cultural studies, and related disciplines are invited to submit proposals for either panel sessions or individual papers.
